Carnival Pride Cruise Ship - Activities - No matter what the age group, there is always something to do on the Carnival Pride. The children's area, Camp Carnival has age-appropriate activities for ages 2 to 14 as well as a babysitting service. Children 9 to 11 have their own club, group dinners and talent shows, and children can often be seen around the ship on scavenger hunts. Teens can enjoy there own dance floor, Spirals, video wall, soft drink bar and video gaming area. All the programs are staffed by trained professionals, and are designed with safety in mind. Other passenger centered activities include the Newlywed game, trivia contests scavenger hunts, pub crawls, and various pool games. Those who don't wish to participate in the cruise ship fun certainly have a great time cheering on the contestants, but people of all ages generally end up participating in the fun onboard the Carnival Pride.
Carnival Pride Cruise Ship - Dining - Unlike many of the other ships in the Carnival fleet, The Carnival Pride has one spacious dining room instead of two smaller rooms. At the Normandie dining room, dinner runs like a well-oiled machine; service is always prompt and attentive. If you are in the mood for a more casual dining option, cruise ship guests can dine at the Mermaid Grille, which offers full breakfast and lunch buffets, a casual dinner alternative and a late-night Mermaid Bistro. After a full night of fun, Carnival Pride guests can visit the 24-hour pizzeria or 24-hour ice cream/frozen yogurt station or can even order room service, which is available around the clock.
Carnival Pride Cruise Ship - Entertainment - The Carnival Pride is not short on entertainment. While onboard the Pride cruise ship, guests can catch nightly Vegas-style shows, in the Taj Mahal Theatre. Other popular lounges and bars featured on the Carnival Pride include the Raphael Lounge, casino bar, and Ivory Piano Bar.
