Star Princess Cruise Ship - Activities - With such a large ship, Star Princess is never short on activities. Pool areas are spread out around the cruise ship and rarely over crowded. And with 9 whirlpools sprawled around the top outdoor decks everyone was able to get a spot. In the Star Princess Lotus Spa, cruise ship guests can enjoy a tropical floral aromatherapy bath, which is unique to Star Princess or receive a relaxing massage.
In the gym, cruisers can participate in aerobics workouts, jog around the jogging track, play at the paddle tennis court, virtual golf, shuffleboard, ping pong table, or Princess' Links, a nine-hole putting course. The Star Princess Kids Zone offers a wide range of activities for children of all ages. Kids participate in arts and crafts, Nintendo, and learning-based projects. There's also an area on this cruise ship with a mini-basketball court and a wading pool. Teens also have their own program. "Off Limits" is for those aged 13 - 17 and area has a juice bar, jukebox, teen disco and big screen TV.
Star Princess Cruise Ship - Dining - It would be impossible to go hungry on the Star Princess. The three main dining rooms are Amalfi, Capri and Portofino. The two alternative restaurants include the Star Princess Sabatini's, which specializes in Italian cuisine and the Star Princess Sterling Steakhouse, which is a traditional savory steakhouse.
On the Lido deck, guests can choose to eat at the Trident Grill, which offers hamburgers, hotdogs, etc., Prego, the ship's pizza house, or Scoops, an Ice Cream shop. In addition, guests can head to the Horizon Court for the buffet and 24 hour dining.
Star Princess Cruise Ship - Entertainment - The broad, entertainment options on board the Star Princess have been considered "head-spinning." Big, lavish Vegas-style productions are presented in the Princess Theater. The Princess Theater also hosts major variety shows.
The other major venue is the Star Princess Vista Lounge which plays movies and live performances, such as comedians and cabaret performers. The Star Princess Explorers' Lounge, has nightly live music and a dance floor. Skywalker's Nightclub, comes alive at night for cruise ship dancing. Other popular lounges include Tequila's or the Promenade Lounge.
